Have anice month, a great winter.

Sorry for being away so long, but I have forgoted my password...I have many e-mail and passwords unfortunately. But I finally, managed to do it!

I am thinking if this blog is useless. It was created so as to not "forget" each other. Now that the summer is gone, please, keep in touch. If nothing would happen, I'd first try to send e-mail. And if it wont help, these "BALKANS" would be dead...

Christo, I went to Italy, lastly. It was beuatiful and weird. Generally my summer was just good. Nothing wow, nothing special.

Summertime

Hi u all! Summertime is just hectic for me, because my firm organizes advertising campaigns on the seaside. I'm already quite tanned, but I had so little time to "kiss the sea" and it's a real pity, because I love swimming... But enough complaining for one post :)
So, let's start on business issues: Hristo, the logo looks good. Frankly, though, I think the flags of the countries are a bit too much - from my point of view, it should be just B+W. Just a thought there... Marieta's lips look great on it ;)
I probably won't have time to go to the seaside on vacation, just work this year. Sad story, what can I say! Maybe in the beginning of September, for my birthday... I'll surely boast about going on a trip, so you'll hear about it, you can bet! :D

I tried with 2 mouths, but it didn't look so good, @ least i think so

actually when I go home (if I do this today) I'll send you a smaller version of the logo, so all the words will be visible :) i'll also send you the 0.9 version of the banner with 2 mouths :) you can always choose which one you like better :)

about the mouth - I just cut off yours from one of the pictures from Kavala and used it as a foundation of what I created :) so it's quite normal you don't recognise it :D actually, i would have been surprised if you did see your moth in this image :D it took me more than 15 minutes to make it that way :D

may be the others should also start speaking or if they don't we may call this a chat between Hristo and Marieta :D so may be we can really open this place up just to have somebody to write in here :D anyway, i have nothing against opening this blog, we want to communicate, why should we keep it closed?

and btw, how come you live in a resort... I want too!!! life ain't fair, believe me :D

I think another time that the bacrkound is awesome! But shouldn't you put 2 mouths? I dont know...I like it a lot this way too!!!!!! Let the others speak. I have just putted a poll, and the banner on this blog. I think I must fix the pixels, because the letters down there aren't easily viewed.

As far as the holidays concerned...well, I live in a touristic place, so leaving it at its best days is ...difficult...from any point of view.

Shall we do this blog invisible to others that have nothing to do with BFC? Whats your opinion?

Many, many, many thanks for the comment, Marieta, will try to make some talking mouths asap. But I have no idea when exactly I'll have the time to do that, unfortunately :) During the weekend, I guess :)

Oh, yeah, almost forgot. How come you ain't having no trips this summer? Or you do love your city so much, you don't want to leave it for more than 1 day, unless it's for Kavala? :P :D And the photo is quite good, mate :) You should become a photographer for some kind of sports daily/weekly/magazine/site :D

I do like this photo - Kavala beach. But I have some reservations - the ball is slightly off I feel. The all of the friends lost and the connection is cut too. And are those white globe lights at the back distracting? Still very evocative. So well done to Daisy with . . So a down grade from Digital Photo of the Day to a more humble 'What do you think of this pic?' post.

Alexandros, nice idea to talk about trips..You! Because, I will go nowhere but my homeplace. Of course it is not that bad, on the contrary it is wonderful. But it still remains my hometown..

(This is Edipsos, in Evia. Far far away from Kavala )

The only trip for me this summer was in Kavala! And fortunately I had a great time. Though, I am sure that next year we would have much more fun and good work.

Alexandros, you proposed to talk about summer trips but you didn't told us about yours! Go on..

As far as the baby-logo, Hristo, I like a lot the idea of Balkans on the..backround. But I think the paper must be replaced by speaking mouths or something like this that shows conversation. Just an opionion!!! A great THANKS for your effort to create a logo.

I do enjoy the idea of sharing thoughts and especially ideas for trips :) actually, I have less than a week left and I'll be off to the seaside here... can't wait already :) the plans are good, as much as i know there will be lots and lots of people travelling with me... don't know how this happened, but @ about 90% of my friends from Sofia will be @ the same place @ the same time with me :D nice :D
what about u guys, any ideas about this summer?

btw, I'm working on some kind of logo, here's a preview (it's just an early, really early prototype, keep that in mind :D)

so if you have any suggestions or ideas how I should continue, please fell free to share them :) unfortunately, I haven't had much time lately, this summer's killing me :D I can barely go home :D not that I'm complaining, but I just don't have enough time to finish this logo :)

Balkan bond-binding

Hi everyone

it is great that alongside the official Balkan Forum for Communication website we now have a blog too to post ideas, share views and just plainly talk about ourselves and our lifes some times. well done Marietta for taking this initiative. that was really well thought out. To my mind, this network that we are building, taking the academic work as a pretext, is an axcellent opportunity to get to know each other better, and even more importantly, to start facing the stereotypes that hunt the lives of the balkanians.

anyhow, I think I have already become very political and thet was not my intent. I suggest that in the blog we keep our discourse lighter, so perhaps we can start sharing thoughts about this summer. The trips we are planning, the fires that have broken throughtout the Balkans and so on.
